the craziest thing about going through with the season is
-the product will be fukking terrible. fan-less games are gonna be so trash that people are just gonna turn it off. it's gonna be painfully obvious that no one is giving 100 percent on the court

I believe it's just to fulfill the real purpose of sports which is to be a distraction from the masses.
Right now, we saw worldwide unity in protests over the murder of a black man, the likes of which has never been seen. And the only reason we saw it was because not only was folks quarantined to their houses, but there was no type of sports to entertain ppl and keep them pacified
so civil unrest happened. now they're trying to put the genie back in the bottle
that's the only thing it could be, cause like you said, watching a game with nobody in the stands is terrible TV and it just doesn't make sense. Players gonna be out there playing like every night is the All Star game
