In NC I knew so many black doctors and lawyers and black people running for office.
In TN I knew black communities that were completely self sufficient from everything to farmers, butchers, blacksmiths etc
In TX the rich black people congregate, not seperate, and they raise their own in concert with one another.

I haven't seen ANY of that shyt in Oklahoma.

Breh the only black people I see/talk to here are one or more of these 4 things:

Broke
With a white person
Working a low level position

I am sad now also, cause I am none of the 4 you listed, and neither is my community\network of friends, here in OKC where I was born and raised.

I do agree however, Houston is like a second home to me now, and I know what it means to come back here, and not have that robust a community or resources made by, and explicitly for us..... not arguing, but we're out here, in a lot of places you may not know to look
