It's not about his son, black men are still tryna 'punish' Ciara for having future's child, and having the nerve to move on afterwards....true incel shyt

When you peep the psychology, it is the men that had wished that they had a Russel Wilson as a father figure that project the most.

I know a guy who went through this. In his instance he had to agree to have the step dads name added to his sons name.

Dude was a true deadbeat and did not care so he signed it. The mom said it was still possible to get it done without his signature but it was a long process. Basically he had to ignore the papers for a period of time. He could easily just flat out deny it and that would dead the whole situation

So I am leaning towards Future signing the paperwork or flat out ignoring it instead of denying it. If that is the case we can’t really be mad at Russ

Now the case I knew about was in Florida so I assume the process is different in other states

For this to happen. Would Future not have to sign off on it??

I don't think he cares as much as some of y'all do

Nobody, including Future, would give a fukk if he had a kid with a random thot and she married an average Joe.

It is very normal that kids share last name with the person/people that raise them, biology is only technical details. He got his mother's last name which is Wilson. When he's 18 he can go and change it to McLovin, Muhammed or whatever he wants if not earlier.

Russ always been respectful while Future was taking shots at Ciara (It was probably her idea). Had they had an open line of communication this probably may not have happened. I wonder what the custody situation is (If he sees the kid or just pays child support).

A. Adoption by the Stepfather

  • The stepfather can petition to legally adopt the child.
  • This usually requires:
    • The biological father's consent (unless his rights are already terminated).
    • A court determination that adoption is in the child’s best interest.
  • Once adoption is finalized, the stepfather becomes the child’s legal parent, with full parental rights and responsibilities.
  • The biological father’s parental rights are terminated at that point.

A. If the Stepfather Adopts the Child:

  • The biological father's parental rights end, and:
    • He is no longer legally required to pay child support.
    • He also loses visitation/custody rights.
    • The stepfather becomes legally responsible for child support and all parental duties.

B. If the Stepfather Does NOT Adopt the Child:

  • The biological father retains all legal obligations.
    • That includes paying child support (usually to the mother).
    • He may also retain custody/visitation rights if granted by court.

What the Sources Say

  • Stepfather role only: Russell Wilson is often referred to as a “stepdad” to Future Zahir and has embraced that role deeply. He has described it as a gift and responsibility, but this is in a personal, emotional sense—not a legal one.People.comEnstarzAtlanta Black StarGood Morning America
  • Name change but not adoption: Ciara has legally added "Wilson" to Future's name in addition to his original surname "Wilburn." However, this change does not indicate that Wilson adopted him. Ciara retains full custody. TMZ

You can always spot a 'Father'..I dont know what you see when you look at Future, but he's a Daddy at best but far from a Father.

Future has already lived his life, he is now irrelevant in this childs life and he has no stakes or say here.
This was done to benefit the boy and secure his resources, they didnt do it to help or discredit Future as he is irrelevant.

And doesnt Future have like a dozen other kids he also doesnt care about
Listen, I'm not trying to act like Future should be getting a father of the year award or something, but another man putting his last name on his son is out of pocket. Future is still alive. That is mad disrepaetful imo. The name change wasn't needed to secure resources. A will is suffice.

I do get your point, but do you suppose it was done out of spite or to force Future and his advisors to finally fall back? :jbhmm:
