Russ is elite, but the fact remains ever since he got his first big contract, Seattle has yet to make it into even an nfc championship game.

Rams
49ers
Packers
Bucs
Falcons
Eagles
Vikings
Saints
Cardinals
Panthers

Have all made it at least once since.

I'm happy to have russ out of nfc west, but I think hatred of Pete is overstated. He's still a good coach imo.

:dahell: For what? How many times has this worked out? The most important position on the field, you’ve got a sure thing and you talking about trading away for some damn king’s ransom. I’d hate to see yall GM
It happens rarely because elite star qbs rarely ask for trades. It’s not as simple as “shut up and play, we gave you a contract” when you’re dealing with an hall of famer wanting out.

Russ aint wrong in wanting to be more protected or his problems with PC but I kinda hate how much of a pass he gets on how the offense played like shyt the 2nd half of the year. His play once teams started blitzing like crazy last years was :scust:

yeah russ takes a part of the blame, but russ pulled the entire scheme back and they didnt do anything with a short passing game underneath. they did more of that early

Pete honestly thinks the only way to beat cover 2 is to run the ball

its cuz pete pulled the plug on it after a few interceptions. he loves ball control that much

Imagine Curry has a few bad games and Kerr comes out, "were not shooting 3s any more"

I'm not a Seahawks fan but I've lived out here for a while. The offense and Russ turned to shyt the second half of the season because Pete pulled the plug like @South Paw said. They were putting up 30+ basically every week the first two months of the season. After the Buffalo loss, Pete went back to Big Ten, three yards and a cloud of dust bullshyt and threw everything out of whack. They never got their rhythm back after that.

It's been a staple of Pete with Russ and I've been saying for years they need to fire Pete and hire a modern coach who doesn't hold Russ back. Look at their recent playoff games. Russ is the only elite QB who barely gets 25-30 attempts in postseason games. Pete won't let him air it out and win games. Seattle's ownership is delusional with their support for him.

Ciara rubbing off on him and he wants to embrace his blackness. And Seattle's not the place for that.

It's time for him to start planning his post-nfl career and seattle can be challenging because it's so far away from everything.

Its not as simple as trading a hall of fame qb for a “king’s ransom” just because when it is literally the most important position on the field.

It’s not “just because” .

If the Texans trade Desaun they wouldn’t trade him “just because”.

The Yay
Two words for all three of y’all.

Robert.

Saleh.

All of these dudes LOVE Saleh. He must be a really good dude.
He's a players' coach and players do love such coaches. He's basically one of the guys, you see him hella pumped up jumping, chest bumping his corners and lbs and so on.
