Seattle got fleeced. Denver gave up nothing of value besides picks, and this years QB class is trash. If Seattle was smart they would trade one of those 1st rounders for a first rounder next year, when the QB class will be A-1. So they can have two 1st rounders in the 2023 draft

Shelby and Fant are value but Fant isn’t as valuable if you don’t have a QB who can get him the ball. Wish there was a way we could have kept him to see what he could do with Russ. They barely got more than they gave up for Jamal Adams, they didn't get "fleeced" but they absolutely left a lot on the bone. That's a lukewarm return for a HOF QB who's still only 33 at the start of next season.

Between not wanting to trade him within the NFC and the no-trade clause a lot of their leverage was compromised. Telling 70 year old Pete Carroll to kick rocks would've been the smarter move from every angle.
