Lol,...And Cleveland still gotta pay Deshuan Watson all his loot. This Russ thing is only the 2nd worst trade/deal of all-time. Russ was cooked before he left Seattle

Russ isn't the mobile QB that he used to be though. You haven't been watching Bronco's games if you think that's the case.
People keep saying what Russ was instead of what he is now. He isn't an upgrade over Cousins at this point in his career and I'm sure a lot of teams would make that important point as well.
Pete and Seattle knew exactly what they were doing when they let him walk instead of paying his asking price.

Yeah you haven't been watching Broncos games and tail end of his Seattle career as you keep pointing to the stats instead of what's actually happening on the field
Read what I wrote:
"They move on to another QB it should be Russ as he gives them another dynamic with his running ability."
Kirk has double digit rushing yards for 8 season of his career.
Russ has 341 yards this season. That in line with 4 of his season totals in Seattle when he was much younger.
Kirk is zero threat to run while Russ can still extend plays and scramble for first downs. That's the point.
If they don't resign Kirk who else do they get, Fields? Let Russ be a bridge. Kirk has gotten them nowhere so what's the point of running it back? Try something different and get the next QB ready.

Why would the Steelers want a guy who's lost his deep ball ability? Lack of downfield passing has been a big reason for their lack of consistent offense. Not to mention, I'm still not fully convinced that Matt Canada wasn't the primary problem there and not PickettThe ideal spot for him I gotta say is Steelers
The QBs you’re thinking are as good as Russ—-and they are not——have a ‘worst in the league’ floor when teams figure them out. Aidan O’Connell, Sam Howell, Bailey zappe. That’s who you thinking of and they are a different level of whatever trash yall think Russ isQBR don’t lie
So a very important thing here: you have to pay for a QB that won’t bottom out pause. By paying Russ instead of rolling with one of those guys, yea it may look the same at times but you are paying for the insurance, that buffer. And higher upside. Don’t wanna pay? Cool watch him implode like Howell, Dobbs, Nick Mullens, Devito, etc

Russ at his point in his career isn't that much of an upgrade over Cousins and the main benefit of bringing him in is the fact that the Broncos will be on the hook for whatever is left of his salary next year.
Otherwise, ask teams who they'd rather have and see what answer you get. Let Kurt be the bridge while getting the next QB ready.
Kirk is significantly better than Russ at this point in their careers.

Russ has proven he still has something left and the talent in Minny >>>> than Denver.
If Kirk is out, then they draft a QB and allocate the resources elsewhere, which was the original plan anyways and why the GM didn't want to commit to Cousins in the offseason.Russ is still using his legs and Kirk never has. There's no arguing that. You're being disingenuous by acting like anyone suggested he's Lamar. He can run, Cousins can't and that adds another dimension to the offense. That's not a debate.
You didn't answer the question of who they sign if Kirk is out.
You want Tannehill, Jacoby, Jamies, Mariota, or Darnold? If Kirk is out tell me who you sign?

They were about to go .500 when he got injured after a 13 win season last year. They were not exceeding expectations. That team was exceeding expectations with Cousins at the helm before he went down with injury, so therefore you run it back with him next season on a short term deal while prepping the next QB.
You forget that they let the bulk of their defensive players go along with Cook, who people at the time criticized the move. They were about to go .500 when he got injured after an 11 win season last year. They were not exceeding expectations.
The Vikings were turning their season around so who knows what happens after.

It was supposed to be a rebuilding year for them, which is why they were hesitant to sign Cousins long term.
