Because people have asked all season long and for years for Russ to show some form of emotion. He could have showed emotion even without stopping to his level instead of that deadpan look like he always does.

Kirk's contract is done. If they wanted him they probably would've extended him by now. I think they go their separate ways.

They move on to another QB it should be Russ as he gives them another dynamic with his running ability. They can draft a guy like Penix either in the 2nd round or move up to the end of the first. He can sit behind Russ for a year or 2 depending on how he's playing.
