The idea that it was absurd for people to want Russ two years ago just because things went bad is dumb. No one foresaw this out come. I've heard various people claiming Russ can't run the offense, Russ isn't smart enough to understand the playbook, etc. The typical shyt you always hear about a certain type of QB in the NFL. Is it true in his individual case? I don't know, I've seen limited Broncos games. But I will say this: he has the best stats of any QB who I've seen benched in recent memory. He isn't mindlessly turning the ball over, he has nearly 30 TDs, he's made big plays and sparked a winning streak. I get the impression this was written in stone no matter what. We know they didn't want to pay out the injury money. We know they can potentially get into the top ten of the draft by losing out. If you want to do that fine. But that report stated they started this weeks ago when the team was in contention. That's locker room killing behavior.
