i think he's just a mole. im guessing at this point trump and co. realize, especially with all of these concurrent investigations (SDNY, house intelligence) and the internal safefguards mueller has implemented, that it's next to impossible to keep what has been discovered from emerging. at this point it's just a war and every bit of intel helps.
