I'm concerned the country is too complacent to take it to the streets if Mueller is fired. Trump is an inferior person and doesn't want any popular figure taking credit for his downfall.

Rosenstein has to fire him. So what'll happen is like what happened with Nixon where Trump will just fire Rosenstein if Rosenstein won't fire Mueller and go down the DoJ hierarchy, firing people until he finds someone who will fire Mueller.
Again, if that happens, that will trigger ugliness. Maybe not from the populace, but from whatever info Mueller's team releases and whatever charges Schneiderman is free to bring against the Trump family in the state of New York.
It's gonna be a mess and trigger a Constitutional crisis.
