Most of them “want” whatever Trump tells them to want. Trump wants whatever he thinks is best for his ego and/or his money and/or his fame in any given moment. That’s why he loses followers. Because as soon as he pisses the few somewhat smart ones off, they realize he was never on their side. The rest just go along with whatever he says because they worship him, not anything he “stands for” (which is nothing)
