Lets be honest here. Putin's success with the Republican party is because he is unapologetically white. He comes from a country that's 95%+ white. He comes from a country where minorities are harassed and even killed by skinheads and vicious racists. He rules with an iron fist damn near. He is a compelling and powerful person to them and we can't ignore it. It shows with how he deals with Obama. Duerte's appeal in the Phillipines is the same. Trump has shown his admiration for Duerte even though he admits to killing thousands of supposed drug users and dealers in less than a year and compared himself to Hitler. And now he's aligned himself and is supported by a person who's own government seeks to undermine our own democracy and has been enemies of its infrastructure going back to the 50s.It's beyond ridiculous.

Trump's vocal and repeated support of Putin seems to have pushed half the Republican Party out of the "dislike Putin" camp.
The Liberals have pushed the Right into embracing authoritative and totalitarian like leadership. America is heading towards fascism. But it's disguised in a way that makes its extremes (white supremacy/nationalism/anti-diversity/anti-multiculturalism) seem not as extreme to a willing populace of Americans who just aim to preserve whiteness before anything else.
They want this. There are no hacks by the Russians. There are no manipulation of votes. The American public is just that racist, hateful, ignorant, insecure, and xenophobic.

You and the rest of the population are seriously trying to figure out how to maintain the conveniences afforded to you and how to maintain a lazy apathetic lifestyle focused on sex, entertainment, sports, food, gossip, and consumerism, while the powers that be are gearing up for war and our own government is headed towards fascism.
I really would like to believe otherwise, but until yall stop watching so much TV, overusing social media, stop mindlessly consuming more than you produce, and actually realize what our ancestors fought for, I'm not gonna hold my breath.

Also, in the modern world, ALL ANGLES must be considered. So Russia faking an assassination to intensify their cause could be a possibility. However, Turkey is like the united nations of muslim terrorists. They all have access to that country. So murking an ambassador is not far fetched. This very well could be a benghazi situation where the "Super-power" underestimates their enemy.
