Yes that war needs to end but if it does so with talks then there should be actual negotiations. The US is literrally surrendering to every Russian points legitimizing their expansionism. If Russia loses nothing then in negotiations then it only delays an inevitable full scale war in Europe.

Unless this translates into turning into war economies or at the very least increasing their defense budget and spending on each other military industries instead of the US, then it means nothing.
