Idk, one of the main problems with the current WWE is that it relies on a lot of dragged out segments. One of the problems with Russo's booking on top of the zany match ideas is that he emphasizes promos/skits over actual wresting.
Case in point, many of you all know that the WWE pushes that the Rock "this is your life" segment is the highest rated segment in RAW history. That's actually a Russo idea to push his ideology that skits >> matches. But in fact, the night Steve Austin defeated the Undertaker for the WWE Championship after the 1999 King of the Ring is actually the highest rated segment with a 9.5 rating. Even the legendary highest rated May 10, 1999 edition of RAW had higher rated segments.
Combine Russo's dependence on promos with an overly long Seth Rollins or Authority promo and this spells audio/visual NyQuil. In my opinion, the WWE under his booking is going to resemble the dark ages of the early PG Era.... minus the PG of course. They may get higher ratings because of it, who knows?
