I think his intentions are good,but clearly not the type to stand on business even if it hurts or offends a bunch of people. Thats fine,black men have every right to play it safe in this current environment. But self awareness is key. If you know you have too much empathy and understanding, Seek clarity before jumping out the window.
Rather than jumping out the window,then trying to find clarity after the fact. He has people supporting him,but then leaves them hanging when he backtracks. You dont have a responsibility to keep going just because people are supporting you. But people need to know your not somebody to defend or support because you will fold like a cheap suit.
I thought what he said from the beginning was very clear though. People didnt want to understand because they hate him and black women

What he said initially was very clear. It just came off as rather hypocritical considering he has a daughter and mother who that exact situation could apply to.
He should have pulled back and apologized from the jump when he first got called out for mentioning RGIII's wife instead of standing on it as all it did was have people go after his family and why he's now copping pleas.
He literally caused his daughter to get caught in the line of fire, so he has no other choice but to put these comments out.Right
