The Rams lost to the 49ers and Eagles tho.
That playoff game was different though. Seattle obviously got the best Defense in the league, yet Stafford and McVay was cooking them boys and had them on the ropes. Rams defense to just needed one turnover or big stop and that game probably gets blown open

Rams game is giving him a lot of boost.
However, lets not forget the Panthers were a better Bryce Young performance away from beating them and Caleb Williams/Bears left plays out on the field.

They're only saying this cause Darnold didn't play a good game on the largest stage. He missed some wide open throws but the Pats defense was nice. That being said he didn't turn the ball over at all the postseason and he wasn't completely carried by the defense.

That's pretty close to the truth. Everyone wants to act like Darnold wasn't trash for the vast majority of his career because he found success in the right spot. He's not an elite QB.
He's not a guy you build around he's a guy who can succeed if you have all the pieces in place. All he had to do was manage the game and not turn it over. He wasn't playing well but they were still getting points in the board. Put him in a situation where he had to be the catalyst and he's not winning you a ring.
