I also don't get the Jordan Love hype. Ill take Darnold
No hype. Jordan Love is a very good QB.I also don't get the Jordan Love hype. Ill take Darnold
he is not better than LoveStafford, Hurts, Goff, Dak, then Darnold. So he's Top 5 in the NFC and Top 10 in the NFL now.

he is not better than Love![]()

Yall just need to enjoy now cuz Bryce Young is gonna Steph Curry the league soonNo hype. Jordan Love is a very good QB.
He can be elite for a long time.
He’s improved every year!
It’s not his fault his WRs drop perfect passes in the clutch or that his defense can’t get a stop when it matters most or that STs continue to be the worst in the league.
He's had great talent around him on both sides of the ball both years. Darnold is a solid qb.Last year with Minny he put up 4,319 years with 35 TD's and 14 INT's
This year he put up 4,048 yards with 25 TD's and 12 INT's
Back to back 14 win seasons plus a SB win. Any other QB coming off 2 seasons like that would be considered elite
fukk JJ McCarthy man![]()
Time will tell if Darnold is Brad Johnson. Brad Johnson had one season that he looked as good as Darnold has looked for two consecutive years, that '99 season in Washington.Darnold got his Brad Johnson on. So props to that![]()
He's not an elite QB but last two years he has a 100.9 passer rating with two different offenses and schemes. The Vikings are a pass heavy offense, the Seahawks are run heavy and led by their defense, he was asked to perform different roles and excelled at both. That's pretty close to the truth. Everyone wants to act like Darnold wasn't trash for the vast majority of his career because he found success in the right spot. He's not an elite QB.
He's not a guy you build around he's a guy who can succeed if you have all the pieces in place. All he had to do was manage the game and not turn it over. He wasn't playing well but they were still getting points in the board. Put him in a situation where he had to be the catalyst and he's not winning you a ring.
I don't know that. Love has more upside.he is not better than Love![]()

I personally think playing at an elite level for two years in a row validates that Darnold is better than Brad Johnson.

He WAS trash the majority of his career, key word "was". Two straight years of this, he's not trash NOW.
I don't know that. Love has more upside.
How it ended in Minnesota wasn't his fault. KOC getting a pass and Darnold catching all the blame is crazyJustin Jefferson, Addison, Hockenson, JSN, Kupp, Barner, Walker, Charbonnet
That's the main reason for his success. When you're a bum when you're not surrounded by elite talent you're not an elite QB. The talent and coaching around him elevated him. An elite QB elevates the talent around him. We've never seen him be good in suboptimal conditions.
We saw how it ended in Minnesota. You can't call him elite that season. He reverted right back to his old self in his biggest games. The man has an 8 year career and did nothing of note for 6 of them. I'm going to need to see a few more seasons of high level play before I believe in him. We're not putting him in the same tier as Mahomes or Lamar who have been winning MVP's and playing at the highest level consistently regardless of their supporting cast. Patrick won a ring with Skyy Moore, Kadarius Toney, JuJu, MVS, and Justin Watson at WR. That's a terrible WR corp. Lamar has never had a top 5 WR. Darnold played with 2 top 5 WR's in two years on two different teams.
The timing of ESPN asking this question was terrible but Ryan Clark wasn't wrong. If they redrafted all the QB's and you had to pick them first without a supporting cast Darnold is not in the top 10.
