It’s a flawed movie and at times it’s poorly written

When the vampires got in the building and it was like 40 on 3 it makes zero sense how they survived more than 10 seconds

Also sunlight literally came out of nowhere

Also the movie should have been more about the survival of the party with the vampires, too much build to that

Checked this out last night. It was dope I enjoyed it. Great performances by everyone. I also enjoyed MBJ’s performance too, I feel like this the only time I didn’t see him as himself in the role lol

there were no vampires. The klan got to them early and sent a second wave later. Sammie is just viewing it through the lens of the "Devil" as he's the only one who survived. Its why the color grading/vibe looks totally different compared to the rest of the movie. Only at the end credits does it look similar and that's just In his head/reflecting

That lady on the thumbnails family’s store is right behind where my people’s live in Greenville. I remember going to that store a LOT as a kid and always remember them mopping and shyt lol. There’s a lot to this story than the short clip presented here but of course nikkas in the comment ls completely outraged about some shyt they didn’t know existed until the movie dropped. Just wanna outrage flop

I can recall going to those stores when my grandma didn’t have $$ and them giving us food and stuff on credit. Didn’t hassle if she didn’t pay it all off or anything. The woman who did the story did a speaking engagement I arranged for AAPI when I was Huntsville. She’s cool peoples.
