sure it did.

i think you mean they could have swapped out the vamps for something else.

The Vampire lore shyt was irrelevant.

The main villain just had to be a culture thief who arrives at a community where Black Culture is thriving.

YOU did ...?

i suppose you have to keep it simple for some people.

for people like you we'd still have one science 'philosophy' and just one story genre .

let creativity breathe.

Blade was only being mentioned with this movie because the lead actor is a black man and the movie features Vampires.

Actually watching the movie you cannot think "yeah this could have been a Blade movie" or "Coogler made a Blade movie"

This is a movie that didn't have a main character as a Vampire Hunter, had friendly ass all lives matter Vampires, underdeveloped Vampire lore and limited action :mjlol:

All of that is the complete opposite to Blade.

The actual vampire shyt didn't really matter.

Vampirism in the movie is just a vehicle to represent black culture being drained from us and then appropriated.

This movie is not a real Vampire movie that's why it was all underdeveloped.

I kept seeing reviewers say Coogler "made Blade before Marvel" yet not one main character in this movie was a "vampire hunter" and there was no action until the climax :what:

You're right, for me when the vampires showed up is when film lost it's flow a bit

I'm here for the spin offs, start with the adventures of Smoke and Stack, I will even take a graphic novel :wow:
I'd read a bunch of graphic novels on this.

Smoke/Stack in Chicago gangland.

Smoke/Stack in World War 1

Remmick the Irish Vampire at war with Christianity taking over in Ireland.

Native American hunters run in with Remmick
