It's a great "Popcorn" movie IMO there's no need to rush out to see it in theaters it's not Black Panther or Wakanda Forever.

You can easily chill and wait till this hits Blu-ray or streaming.

Well. My mom wants to see it this Easter weekend so me and my brothers and dad may go peep it out still. If it's a fun movie then I think it's worth seeing in the theater. If it's a run of the mill overhyped type flick then that will be disappointing. Cuz reviews are really good which always raises the alarm witn me.

Yeah thats what I was thinking, this felt more like a "wait until its streaming situation".

I was actually having this conversation with someone the other day. By no means I'm saying Ryan Coogler is a kiss azz. But I strongly feel Rayn made damn sure to make some good connections with some top dogs in Hollywood, because if you notice any film that he's ever came out with has gotten good publicity and great promotion.

He must be a good schmoozer.

Edit: I will say the idea and concept of Sinners is a fresh new idea (that's probably the main reason its getting very good reviews and its kind of the reason it got 100% on rotten tomatoes) but as I said before IMO the middle act of the movie didn't hold strong.

To me, Sinners is a very delicious burrito but once you get to the middle of said burrito it becomes very soggy, you still finished the burrito because it's very delicious but you could have done without all the sogginess.

I was initially rubbed the wrong way about the concept and the goal of this movie since this movie is basically a result of the fallout of the Blade movie that was scrapped, and also because I feel like MBJ is fishing for his I Am Legend/Gemini Man/Hancock

But my love for coogler and his work supercedes all that, ill try to catch it day 0 on IMAX tomorrow night if i can

two of my fellow independent media peoples im close to saw advanced screenings and they raved about it...if it wasn't for something i have to do tomorrow evening, id see it then..so friday or saturday ill be there in a theater to support...coogler has earned that right from me
