Just got back for seeing it on IMAX went to see it last week the regular way. Man I forgot how dope the IMAX experience was.

I dont know about that. Ultimately that will come if he proves he can make movies that attract alot of white people. Somebody like Ice Cube proved he could take low budgets and make a nice profit. Hes not getting blank checks on the idea that if you give him 100 million he can make a movie that brings in 1 billion. Just because hes turned 12mil to 80 million box office before. Coogler will have to start making movies that bring in a billion to get that blank check status.

Figured this might happen too. Because alot of people werent talking about it the first week but it did well. Folks came back to work after the weekend saying how great the movie was. Saw more chatter on social media despite seeing very little leading up to it. So i assumed word of mouth might actually make it do better the following week. So the lack of a drop isnt suprising
