Seems like a good choice. The show is basically young Bruce Wayne now and they've said they're going for inspiration from Chris Nolan and it will feature origin stories of Batman rogues gallery and they plan that when the show ends, Bruce will don the cape and cowl, similarly to how Smallville was done. It started out, at least when they were talking about it, as a show about Gordon and the Gotham police but the last they talked about it at the TCA's, it changed into a show mainly about Young Bruce
