OBVIOUSLY the ransom was for the music not a fukking laptop. If it was just a regular laptop why would a sane person offer 1 milli for it when they could just buy a new one.

If he could prove that it was damaged when he got it back and everything on the hard drive was lost, he should've easily won the case.

I would appeal as I'm sure he would. And why would he go with a jury trial in the first place . worst decision he made.
