9:30 AM PT -- A rep for Brazilian swimmer, Thiago Pereira, reportedly told the Washington Post he was with Lochte at Club France celebrating a friend's birthday before the incident.

Thiago says after he left the club with his wife, Lochte confirmed his taxi was robbed, but he was unharmed.

I think its bullsh*t.. I worked at a supermarket part time when I was like 20 years old and we got robbed one night right before we closed. It was three off use and we all had a gun pressed up against our domes.. they got the registers open- got in and got out and luckily they didn't shoot nobody but man that was no fukking joke whatsoever. Your whole fukking life flashes before your eyes in a heartbeat. I'm not talkin' about somebody flashin' a gun but a gun muzzle pressed to the neck with the finger on the trigger ready to squeeze shyt. There was no movie-hero- talking sh*t to the robbers jumpin' off. You're just trying to survive the situation to see another day.

Plus I've been to Rio as well. Beautiful place but there's alot of poor people left and right who don't give a f*ck plus the cops will shoot and kill without any repercussions, trials, fallout, etc. And to my surprise there's not that much English spoken out there so how is this Lochte character mouthing off is laughable imo.
