Whose had a more up & down preseason than Ryan Mallet? Started it by being dikk ridden by mike Mayock who prolifically announced him as the next best thing to possibly being a camp causality.

Mayock needs to shut his trap and stop working for teams looking to add value to players they want to trade

Mallet seems to be nothing special, it's always funny when these dudes try the "I called it" statements, shyt flops and you never hear about it again.

Texans need to look at someone else though, they got the saddest QB corps in the NFL. Maybe trade a 9th rounder for him.

At times it honestly feels like the NFL tells all the commentators and analysts to praise everything pats do to make people forget about spygate.



Looking at the pats drafts over the last 5+ seasons and they are horrible at drafting. Every time they sign someone its a "genius" move. And all the scum bag shyt their players do gets swept under the rug.

Part of the problem is that Ryan Mallet isn't a good fit for this iteration of the Patriots offense. He has a big arm but the team has no true home run threats to speak of, the system is more of a consistently move the chains system than one that relies on the big play. I think Mallet would be a better fit elsewhere though I'm beginning to think he will be a #2 QB at best. I did have higher hopes for him coming out of college.
