Thats not a Bad Contract
Romo aint going nowhereI'm not gonna lie, and you can disagree with me if you want, but I feel like this is some shyt that Beli or Jerruh is gonna come through and take advantage of when Cam's contract is up. The Panthers been outright dumb when it comes to helping Cam on the offensive side and if he's a UFA a year from now I'm slightly nervous that Jerruh at the very least will pull Cam Newton to the Cowboys.
They can wait on luck though since they exercised the 5th year optionso that means
Luck - 125M
Cam - 115M
Wilson -110M

and w/ him at QB they will never be better than that

Per a league source, Tannehill receives $21.5 million fully guaranteed at signing.
Another $3.5 million becomes fully guaranteed in March 2016, and another $3.5 million becomes fully guaranteed in 2017. The rest of the guarantees ($16.5 million) become fully guaranteed in 2018.
As a practical matter, then, Tannehill will get $25 million fully guaranteed over the next two seasons — unless the Dolphins cut him before next March and let him walk away with $21.5 million over one year.
In all, it’s a four-year extension worth $77 million, which equates to $19.25 million per year in new money average. Which is a very good deal for a guy who has not yet emerged as a clear-cut, short-list franchise quarterback.
run of the mill QBs out here getting that Juwon Howard / Tim Thomas / Rashard Lewis moneybeing a decent QB in the NFL now is like being a 20+ point player in the NBA before 2010![]()
