While Tannehill isn't leading the league in passing attempts, he's throwing the ball way more than the Dolphins should. And it's leading to losses.

The Dolphins are dead last in the NFL in rushing attempts, despite having one of the league's better running backs in Lamar Miller.

Why Miami is passing when they're fielding such mediocre WRs is mind boggling.

Rishard Matthews and Jarvis Landry wouldn't be top 2 receivers on any team in the league. And they're dominating the targets. Meanwhile a future star in DeVante Parker has seen 8 targets all year.

Given the talent on this roster...even with the coaching change, the Dolphins are the most poorly managed franchise in the NFL. And probably in all of sports.

So while they keep trying to act like Tannehill is the new Dan Marino. He's not even the new Jay Fiedler.

Stop letting your fantasy of what Tannehill should be get in the way of the right calls, and run the goddamn ball.

It's been 4 years of this crap and I'm watching him get thoroughly outplayed by a 2nd rounder in Oakland.

im afraid his lack of deep ball accuracy will always keep us an underneath passing team

disagree on Landry tho, he could be a 2 on at least 15-20 other teams. dude is nice
Nobody on the roster would start over Travis Benjamin.

Our WRs can't even run shyt on the Browns.

Oakland has a top 5 o line, tannehill is playing with a bottom 3 o line.

Mathews and Landry are guys you can win with, they arent the problem. Parker hopefully develops into the 1 they hope he can

trading a 3rd for Stills and signing Jennings was a waste, Tanny wont use them. i like Cameron as the receiving TE hes prolly top 5

Dolphins offensive line isn't that bad.
It's the same line as last year (Pouncey, James, Turner and Albert were the starters). They only lost Guard Shelley Smith.

And the team was 12th in rushing. They're dead last now with the loss of 1 guard? Nah.

Cameron might be a little lower than that.

Eifert, Barnidge, Gronk and Walker and Kelce...

Tannehill has a weak arm, I'll admit but considering how iffy their O-Line is, I can see how you can expect him to be much better. I agree his WRs inflate his stats some but the O-Line needs to improve. He's not a an elite QB but he ain't a bum either. Try to improve the O-Line this following year and re-establish the running game. If he sucks then, then you could consider moving on, but I can't co-sign dumping a QB that has essentially improved every season despite having a bad line.

That's on the coach and the OC. Not the QB. Ryan Tanehill doesnt have that kinda pull yet in this league to dictate what plays are called.

Meanwhile, I like the kid... but i dont know what they were thinking when they gave him that huge extension

This o-line ain't paper thin.

Run the fukkin ball man.
There's no excuse to not attempt to run.

fukkin Lamar is still averaging 5 yards per carry this year.

So it's not a matter of they can't block.
It's a matter of them not even attempting runs.

Because QB talent in the NFL is in a drought and they know there won't be a legit Franchise QB in the next 2 drafts at minimum. The Dolphins essentially banked on his youth and athleticism.
