Sam bradford and alex smith were allowed to do the basics of the position...
Tanny just got the training wheels taken off...it might not be his fault, but a 27 or 28 year old qb who just got the ability to change a play at the los is basically 3 years behind the curve...
You cant even compare him to alex smith or bradford because he isnt even in their league when it comes to knowing the responsibility of the position..
And this is maddening. So we'll give him til 30, because he has the potential to just be as good as Alex Smith?

what???

if ppl are fed up with Tannehill based on his play they will be even more frustrated with Kap.

I'd much rather have a guy like Keenum than Kap. Hell go after McCarron or someone.

fukk Kap.
McCarron? Keenum?

:jbhmm:

I don't see how either one is better than Kap... we've seen what Kap can do in a dynamic offense.

Tannehill has a weaker arm than Bradford. The OK QB might seem unathletic but he was a former basketball player. Bradford has a stronger arm and can routubely make all the deep tosses Tannehill routinely doesn't. Moreover Bradford is just a better QB than Tannehill. His accuracy, footwork, pocket presence and anticipation is on another level. Tannehill is a bust.
LOL, umm no he doesn't

Ryan Tannehill has very good arm strength and accuracy isn't a problem for him. In fact his career completion percentage is higher than Bradfords.

and a few years ago ppl were calling Bradford a bust.

see this is why ppl think I'm a Tannehill stan cuz I don't let BS slide. Why can't ppl just be honest with their oipinions?? I don't know, but the lying and hyperbole is just too much.

Sam Bradford y'all.......Been in the league 2 years longer, played on 3 different teams, thrown for less TD's has a worse completion percentage, worse QB rate, thrown for less yards, and has been injury prone his whole. Finally gets a chance to play with an elite defense, where he's not expected to be the man and he's playing good.

I thought a couple of years ago he was finally putting it together but he has regressed since then. Maybe if he had consistency from the coaches position and had he not played behind Swiss cheese for an OLine early in his career he could've developed into a decent QB but that ship had sailed. But Tannehill is far from the biggest problem, he just one of the many problems in an organization that has problems top to bottom. You could bring in a top line QB and they'll still not a good team. The OLine would still suck, they still can't stop the run

again, Brian Hoyer isn't playing on this team.

if you can't see the Oline as the biggest problem on this team(still) then you aren't being truthful.

:what:

I said he had regressed and the ship has sailed on him, what else do you want me to say, we should tie him to a post and let dolphins fans stone him to death. Yeah he sucks just like the rest of the team. Outside of a few players and a decent WR core, this franchise sucks.

Yeah. Because the Bears are a much better offensive situation than the Dolphins

Tannehill''s deep ball hangs in the air whereas Bradford''s slices through the air. Bradford throws with greater velocity and is more accurate down the field. The only reason Tannehill's completion % is higher is because he almost never throws down field. Bradford is significantly more accurate than Tannehill in terms of ball placement.

The reason Bradford hasn''t played up to par till now is poor weapons and injury concerns. Bradford is winnijg ganes as much because he is scoring points as playing with a good defense. Tannehill isn't playing well because he leads the league in failed 3rd downs.

Russell Wilson has had bad lines and played well. Big Ben has taken a bevy of sacks and played well. When Bradford is pressured, he either steps up or releases the ball. The list goes on. Pressure is part of the NFL QB experience. Either a QB beats it with awareness and creativity or intelligence, or they don't. Tannehill lacks the intelligence Brady and Brees have in addition to the creativity Wilson and Big Ben possess. He simply isn't a good QB and is not likely to ever be one at this point. Develop or die.
