I hear Sanchez is looking like straight booty in Philly now too. Rex should have gone with him. It's now clear Rex knows damn near nothing about offense. He thought Sanchez until the truth until he was released. I don't think think Sanchez is backup material at this point.
So being booty in Philly means this clown Tebow was the better alternative?? :mindblown:

As a Fins fan who's seen every throw Tannehill has made as a pro, let me give my two cents.

His deep ball is below average. It's been that way since college, not a surprise. Him and Wallace just couldn't get on the same page this past year, but it was for a multitude of reasons.

1) Tannehill under/over threw him a lot.

2) Wallace dropped a lot of balls/ didn't go up and fight for jump balls in 50/50 situations.

3) Our o-line was trash so a lot of passes down the field were rushed.

4) Even when there was a semi-clean pocket, Tannehill got happy feet and rushed the ball out because of the amount of times he got sacked and knocked down throughout the year.

5) A lot of the deep throws were on 5 step drops as opposed to 7, because the protection, or lack thereof, just didn't allow for that kinda time.

6) Towards the end of the year, they started to click more, but Tannehill didn't trust Wallace to go up and fight for the ball, so he was hesitant to pull the trigger and take a chance down the field with Wallace like Cutler might do with Marshall or Alshon.

Good thing is, a lot of this can be fixed; and I think Lazor will do just that. They've already started to move around Wallace a lot more in practice this year than they did all of last year. More motion, more slot alignment, etc. to find creative ways to get the ball in his hands. We upgraded the o-line to give him more time and let plays develop down the field. On paper it looks like Wallace was a bust for us last year, but the truth is, if he was used properly and him and Tannehill were on the same page, he could have easily had 15 TDs.

maybe elite qbs. non-elite qbs arent expected to complete deep passes all the time. like Ive said, half of the video isnt convincing at all, theres like maybe one or two instances where wallace is WIDE OPEN

my point is if you focus on lowlights, I can show you dozens of instances of kaep overthrowing VD or boldin, or flacco overthrowing torrey

or alex smith overthrowing everyone :mjlol:

breh i would never understand this shyt, every niner game i saw alex throwing rockets outside the numbers hitting camera men and shyt :camby:

nikkas be wide open deep and he throws the ball away:mindblown:

right on cue, from today's practice report....

Miami Dolphins practice report: Mike Wallace says he’s “so much better” in new offense

By Andrew Abramson

It’s only OTAs and some if it was 7-on-7 action, but receiver Mike Wallace is looking comfortable under new offensive coordinator Bill Lazor.

Wallace scored three touchdowns at practice today, including one over the top and one down the middle. He said afterward that the difference is that he is moving around.

Last year former offensive coordinator Mike Sherman used Wallace almost exclusively on the right side.

“Nobody can ever key on me,” Wallace said. “Last year, you kind of knew where I was every single play.”

Coach Joe Philbin said moving Wallace around “creates mismatches.” He didn’t say why the team didn’t move around Wallace last year.

So how will Wallace do under Lazor this year?

“A lot better,” Wallace said. “So much better.”

It was a bad combination:

Tannehill is not accurate on the deep throws and Mike Wallace refuses to make adjustments. There was about 2-3 plays last year where Mike Wallace just watched the ball get picked without as much as jumping up to contest.

Yes Tannehill missed some deep balls last year, some that were easy ones that should have been TD's

BUT, he also made some great deep ball throws that just went right through the hands of Mike wallace, that should have been TD's as well.

add in the fact that he was sacked more than ANY qb in the league last year, had the shortest amount of time in the pocket before being touched than any other QB in the league and had ZERO running game you also have to see why not every one of those throws was perfect.

he wasn't able to allow the route to be established before throwing, which hurt the timing between the two.

I know it has been mentioned but I will also state it.
the average QB throws what 60% completion rate?

so why aren't these great qb's getting high 90's or 100's?
surely its not always the receivers fault.

every qb makes bad throws, every qb also makes "safe" throws where they know that there really isn't a place to throw it without a chance at an INT.

also.....ANYTHING written by that fakkit Armando has to be taken with a grain of salt, that is one hating ass cokksucker.

Wallace doesn't even know how to come back to the ball and waits on it.

He has tons of flaws outside of his godly speed.

This is another big thing.
Mike Sherman was a clueless idiot.
