I definitely see him throwing 4400 yards 34 tds with the Dolphins winning the AFC EAST. Tannehill will carve the shyt out of the Bills and Jets defense.
Wallace was a great deep threat only when he had separation.Maybe in terms of QBR and QB rating, not overall contribution. His yards per attempt was just below 7. Tannehill still can't throw the deep ball with anticipation or accuracy yet OP is talking about him being a top 10 QB. Wallace was an excellent deep threat for Big Ben so the problem was Tannehill. He's not a top 10 QB.

Dude couldnt catch a ball in traffic at all. He also had the smallest window to throw the ball to riding the sideline all the time cuz he would rarely go over the middle.
Tannehill had luck with other receivers going deep.
I'm not saying he will be top 5 but the way he has been progressing, plus the upgrades at every other offensive position, I wouldn't put it out of the realm of possibilities
Dudes got an arm, and can scramble.
Wallace was never the number one guy in Pittsburgh though.Wallace separates from his defenders; his main pitfalls are in high-pointing and catching the football in traffic. But while he does have these weaknesses, he had them in Pittsburgh too and presumably when your front office signed him. Magically, Roethslisberger completed deep passes to Wallace on the sideline and in deep coverage regardless, which presuppose that Wallace can indeed be a deadly weapon if the QB is good enough to make use of his talents. Suffice to say, Tannehill lacks the arm strength and/or anticipation to hit Wallace like Ben once did. So the problem last year was Tannehill, not Wallace.
He did, but those receivers aren't deep threats or burners. Teams don't key in on them like they do Wallace. And despite the lopsided coverage that sometimes shifts his way, Wallace's mercurial speed gets him open several times a game - only for Tannehill to miss him (and blame Wallace thereafter).
Tannehill can be comfortably top 10 in the short to intermediate zone, and maybe against the blitz in these zones, but he's not going to be a top 5 overall QB.

I agree here.I love Tannehill. (no homo)
His deep ball suck bt he's like a surgeon in the short game and his ball placement is just sick. I seen the cat throw some balls to receivers and it's like he placed it exactly within inches of where the defender can't get to it and only the receiver has access to. I also like the fact that they let him run more last year. He's very athletic for a typical white QB.
Only weaknesses
- Pocket Presence
- Deep ball
Nah.Dude is a better version of Alex Smith....which isn't much to write home about. This thread will be upped at the end of this upcoming season either way.
IMO, you can't be a top 5 or even 10 QB if you can't make all the throws...especially deep and intermediate sideline throws. ARod, Big Ben, Rivers, Romo, Eli, Peyton, Brees etc...folk can hate them all they want...but they're complete QBs..can make every throw.
Nah.
I've seen him on 3rd and 15 throw the ball 17 yards. You're being disrespectful
