Jokes and trolling aside this moment was pretty cool last year, the arena was :dj2: for that Meathook:

Skip is still a horrible wrestler but they can get that heat back easily if they want. Build another winning streak and bring out Goldberg to co-sign him.

Bill Goldberg appeared at the C4 Comic Con in Winnipeg a few weeks ago and was asked about appearing at Wrestlemania XXX for WWE in 2014. He said that Triple H has called him several times and they've talked, but there is no official deal yet.

He said that the is open to a return as he would like his son to see him wrestle at least once on a major stage, but would only do it for the right amount of money. He added that he would never call WWE personally and ask to come back. He pointed out that the WWE knows what needs to be done if they want him back. A source said his financial demands were "very significant".

Goldberg also talked about WWE trying to push the idea of him getting an enormous pop ("think of the pop you'll get") but he said that's the wrong way to get him to sign.

Wonder what he's looking for then, as it seems he wants a one-and-done contract.

Actually he did draw last October. They just had the wrong guy win.
no they didn't. Him losing that one match wasnt what hurt him. It was the months and Months and Months of coming up short in each and every single program afterwards that ruined him. Loss to shield, loss to cena in the finals of the Rumble, Loss to the shield again, Loss to Henry at Mania, turned Heel failed against Cena Twice, Got fluky win over Jericho (1st PPV/feud win in a year) didnt make Summerslam. Loss to Punk at Battleground and Hell In A Cell. loses to Henry again in Impromptu Match at Survior Series.

Nah...October was his height. The CM Punk experiment went on 5 months too long. It was retreading and he was facing the same guys. Ryback shouldn't have been in the match unless he was going to win. Very easy and elementary booking that a 5th grader could pull off.

Are people complaining about how we didn't get a ryback reign at the expense of the shield and punk ?!?? :snoop: the world is a weird place :cmpunkbro:

Can't speak for everyone but I don't believe most are complaining about Skip not being pushed as much as Punk/Shield. I agree that he was clearly too green at the time of the Superpush, and should not have been slotted in the WWE title picture. Most of his matches consisted of sub-3 minute squashes. The IC title program with Miz should have gone through as planned, giving him time to develop his in ring ability, pace, psychology and most importantly: safety of others.

But it didn't go that way, as the E decided to skyrocket him in replacement of Cena. I don't necessarily blame them as he was getting red hot and the build with Punk was actually well done (the faceoff after Punk took out Foley, the Meathook in Sac, the eventual Shellshock the week after).

But HIAC 2012 was one of the rare times that no one knew what was going to happen. Even TSC was split down the middle, lol. Our best couldn't accurately guess that finish. The possibilities of #fukkery were endless. Was one of our most anticipated PPV threads :ohlawd:

Bottom line is that he should have gone over Punk. They could have still done the DQ with Shield interfering at the SS rematch, and then having Shield win at TLC in that great 6-man match to further put them over (D-Bry/Kane would have had to do the J.O.B. instead). At RR they could have done a 3-way with Punk/Rock, with Rock walking out the champ, and Punk taking the pin (he was going to take the pin regardless). Skip takes a break to feud with someone else, Rock drops to Cena, Skip turns heel and has his program with Cena. The worst that comes out of any of that is Punk's reign being 3 months shorter :yeshrug:

It really was a case of all or nothing yet the E was able to somehow middle that shyt :russ: I joke about it as much as anyone but a part of me wishes it had gone a different way, as we have not seen a proper build followed through in a long time, all cut at the knees (Authority angle being the latest)

Just realized how much I wrote regarding Skip fukking Sheffield. My bad brehs :pachaha: :dead:
