Their usage of the US title at this Mania didn't really make sense. They had Cena win it last year and spend most of the year defending it and making it a big deal (in theory) only to demote it to a throwaway match on the preshow. It didn't deserve main card status but I also think they should've just made the ladder match for both belts and merged them. Or put effort into the storyline for the title in the first place

I admire Rybacks passion but I also don't give a shyt if I ever see him on my tv again so.

It's just used to elevate a star for a singular fan base they want for now. Rsusev had it for the hardcover fans, then Cena to make it worth something, and now Del Rio and Kalisto to try to bring back the Latino fans. It just doesn't work, as you say, with thrown together feuds and less investment.

They don't have the time in a 3 hour show, and 13 hours of combined weekly programing, to do something like support 5 belts. It's up to you, as a fan, to project what the titles mean to you. Your heads make the feuds, or stop watching.

The feud in general was awkward, but so is the booking of Ryback. It's crazy because everytime he's legitimately over as a face they force him to have an inexplicable heel turn to kill all his momentum.

I'm not a big CM Punk mark, but he was right when he called Ryback "Steroid Guy". That's basically all he is; a big guy on roids who is OK at everything. He deserves screen time and a midcard spot, he is over, but he's not compelling enough in any way to warrant being one of the top 4 or 5 characters on the show.

The matches on the pre-show are always interupted by commercials which can take the people watching online out of the match.
