I'm surprised Ryback is now starting to do the Jackhammer, I expect him to borrow moves from Hardwork Bobby Walker and Ice Train's movesets before the year is over.

I would imagine being bland, is being awful in the ring.
Errrr, I mean his character is bland. I don't see his matches and watch the way he performs moves, or sells or bumps and think he's bad. IMO, Ryback is no more limited in the ring in terms of technique than Ultimate Warrior, Goldberg (aside from that sweet backflip he used to do) and Hogan after Hulkamania began. He just doesn't have a character that makes you give a fukk, and his in-ring abilities aren't substantial enough to overcome that.
