Never really hated Russillo. But he's clearly one of them I'm a libertarian dudes, cause he don't want to own up to his leanings. He's been phoning it in for a while on the Ringer. He still will pop up a good episode of the pod with Foxworth or Van, Chris Long or McShay, even can make Kanell fun though for mostly just being god awful at College Football takes. But, yeah going to Barstool kind of cements his place in the game. I feel like him leaving the Ringer and not getting with Wave, or Cowherds Volume network. Pretty much indicated it was Fox, ESPN, or Barstool.
So him going to barstool is the most interesting. They have no basketball coverage from what I can recall. So he immediately becomes their number one NBA guy. I imagine Todd McShay's not long behind then cause he and Portnoy went to high school together. Bet by end of next 2026 most of FS1/FS2 going to be Barstool coded.

Russillo can be a good listen if you only hear him a couple of times a year 
Those weekly NBA pods with Bill became repetitive and Russillo's way of always speaking in footnotes gets old FAST. I think I only listened to them during the playoffs the past two years
Him going against Bill's dumb ass takes or wild ass theories was his main contribution, imo.

His schtick got old quick. Might as well get one last payday.
He might be Portnoy vibes or not. But until we have proof, I enjoy his content. Unlike ESPN and shyt like that it’s refreshing to hear detailed analysis and people passionate about like role players and depths of the bench and shyt like that. And not just people in the all-star team or old all-star guys vs new all-star guys

I just can't listen to most of it. I like Brandt on the Rewatchables episodes though mostly because I love those 80s action flicks so anyone who shares that same love for them is gonna be a good listen for me. I can't really do Bill's sports coverage. I don't think he knows anything about football.
Russillo, again... I think his shyt is dry as fukk but he's been great on a couple Rewatchables most notably the episode on 'The Town'
