CryEngine has never sold anywhere near what Unreal Engine does. I've always wondered why. UE has a "look" to it that very few game get away from. CryEngine has always seemed better to me.

From what I've heard , the Cry Engine is harder to work with.

It was the go to tps shooter bro game engine but it was really diverse when implemented right. Everything I've read about cryengine was that it wasn't nearly as easy to use as other engines.

The first one is honestly a personal classic to me. Lets hope the Cry Engine can survive this debacle so more games can be made with it. Its honestly the best graphic engine out right now.
