I'ma let the smash crowd cry about how OP ryu is before I invest anytime in trying to pick this up. But they put alot of TLC into ryu... probably too much.

To me, Ryu is like a buffed up version of little mac. A monster on ground but if u throw him up or the stage, you can punish him since his air game doesn't seem amazing.

Most unique character in Smash history and he's a waste to some folks.

I just want new different characters.Nintendo characters.I've played with Ryu since i was 13 years old.Only reason they added him is to bring over fans of the traditional fighting games.$$$$

To me, Ryu is like a buffed up version of little mac. A monster on ground but if u throw him up or the stage, you can punish him since his air game doesn't seem amazing.

If you can do his hurricane kick in the air... man I don't know. we shall see tho, if he can combo into a manual dp motion....

His aireal game doesn't look bad. He has follow ups after hitting in the air. He looks like he may have a hard time getting juggled but it looks like his hurricane kick will give him enough horizontal movement to land anywhere.

Ryu because he's in another fighting gamee means he's not new?? He's still a great addition. You acting like Smash Bros is street fighter and they added Ryu. Ryu in this game is like a whole new ball game.

That's why I called him Ryu a buffed up version. Everything that was horrible about little mac (air game and recovery) seem better with Ryu. Still not great, but better than Mac.
