I'm just gonna post this again:

It is cool if you say that to your son behind closed doors, not on national TV in an attempt to justify why black kids get shot by the police. I swear these c00ns never put the onus on cops and always want to blame black people.

For those saying "oh this is just fatherly advice. This is just maturity "

No.

Him saying this on national TV is giving validity to what these white people feel and say. Hoodies?
Really just think how fukking ridiculous that is.
Every fukking body wears hoodies. Babies wear hoodies. Nobody loves hoodies like white people. Nobody.

The most appalling thing is we all know exactly where this hoodies bullshyt came from. Hoodies became "thug wear" (just for young Black men) when the racists and the media needed a fukking excuse for that worthless fat fukk cac/whatever to stalk and kill an innocent young Black man who was walking home with snacks, minding his own fukking business and had a hoodie on in the rain.

Some of yall disgust me.

That's not even the point.

Black people fall in the trap of being owned and controlled by white owned companies. When you are dealing with public figures/celebrities, they are unable to honestly convey their true thoughts on social-political questions because of the fear of losing money.

That is called white supremacy.

Naw its not a trap its a decision. The millions he's making is more important than his beliefs if that's the case.

All he'd have to say is "Police brutality is a serious issue that affects all Americans and we need to address it."

Instead he's talking about nikkas need to dress better :camby:

Respectability politics won't stop bullets.

I'd rather die on my feet than live on my knees. The purest form of submission to a society that forces you to change your behavior to comfort their own prejudices.

Compare that to 2pac's answer :mjpls:

Imagine seeing Pac on CNN saying All Lives Matter :mjcry:

I mean really. I wear what I want. I do what I want. If that bothers people? I don't cause trouble. I keep to myself. That's on them. I refuse to change up how I like to dress and how I want to see myself to appease someone that doesn't care anyways.

IT's like damn...white people got some of you shook...that's sad man.

I know at the end of the day, no matter if I wear a three piece suit and tie with the nicest leather shoes from italy handcrafted from saks fith avenue or a snapback, my north face, my jeans, and my nikes they see me the same way. I really don't care what ANYBODY thinks. I know I'm the same person. A graduate with two degrees. A licensed insurance broker. A business person. An intelligent and caring human being. If someone can't see that, what fault of that is mine?

Cause I'm not viewing myself through anybody's lens but mine.

Breh I stopped giving a fukk about what I wear a long time ago. I'm a black male with a beard. I'm guilty even if I got on a 3 piece suit.

Coli posters giving advice to their sons:

"Hey Son...remember, when you're out there in them streets breh, sag your pants, wear that hoodie, smoke that blunt in public, keep fukkin them pawgs, and if any cac says some sideways shyt to you, especially if its the police, tell that nikka to pull up, and STEAL ON THAT nikka SON!!! Or you can't call me Daddy nomore pleighboi:birdman:"

Yeah, because that's the only alternative to wearing a hoody. When I was coming up my pops kept it real with me. He told me no matter what I did whites would never stop being racist so love being black and love being an African.

It's 2016 breh. These nikkas don't have to c00n. They're choosing to.

Malcolm X gave a speech where he said the day is gonna come when we gonna have to start putting hands on these c00ns. 2016 looking like it might be that year :patrice:

Does anyone have the whole interview? I don't feel comfortable going in on him based on a 20 second clip. :patrice:

Actually, just watched the second clip:

"If I'm a cop and every time I see a young black youth, whether I watch them on TV or in movies or...just see them hanging out, and they're looking...they're not properly dressed, yanno, properly primed, carrying themselves...not conducting themselves in proper hours of the day...you gonna have a certain kind of fear and stereotype of them"

How can anybody defend this statement? Seriously, fukk all that "he was just advising his sons" bullshyt, somebody defend this quote. :snoop:

I still wanna see the whole vid

I wouldn't call this c00n shyt. Maybe saying it to white folks on tv, but not the actual action of trying to protect your kid

We all know its wrong, and its a damn shame that we have to do this, but this is just a father protecting his son.

its like if you tell a girl to avoid rape by not getting passed out drunk at a frat house. You gotta teach your kids to avoid putting themselves in janky situations. Wearing a hoodie through an affluent white neighborhood is probably not the best idea:manny:

edit: Oh shyt, I just seen the quote above:huhldup:

no defending that shyt.

But this guy is one of the originators of street wear, now hes speaking out against it :dahell:
