Easily the best Wu related release in a long time…..RZA should’ve let the clan rhyme on these beats for 8 diagrams
Seems like Dj Scratch leaned into his Rza type beats for this, plus I’m in the minority 8 diagrams sounds fresh even in 2022

Edit: been listening to the group albums on tidal lately and Iron Flag is fukkin crack hands down best group ever imo:banderas:

Haven't listened to it yet, but honestly the only reason I would check for a RZA project is for his production (he is my favorite producer of all time, 8D and A Better Tomorrow are criminally slept on) so why the hell does he have DJ Scratch handling all the beats?

I think its just a change. If you look at RZA career, he switches up from project to project. Although obviously some things are always part of it - gritty soul music, eastern philosophy, he always tries to find a new approach.

This makes me anticipate a new clan album even more, knowing RZA is in this form.
