RZA is an undisputed legend in hip hop. That's not debatable. But with all due respect, this is not really a contest. Primos catalog is stupid. Think about it...he has classic songs with SEVERAL Mt. Rushmore level MC's. Nas, Jay-Z, Biggie, KRS-1, and Rakim. Then he got classic joints with Jeru, Group Home, Showbiz & A.G., Fat Joe He got 3 joints on Illmatic, and 3 joints on Reasonable Doubt. He arguably has 3 songs in Biggies top 10.

And we haven't even gotten to Gang Starr yet.

The vast majority of RZA's great work is Wu-related. What I will say RZA has over Primo tho is that he has produced as many as 4 whole classic albums. I don't think any Gang Starr album is considered a classic.

Ehhh...I don't know. Classic songs on them absolutely. But hip hops classic albums discussions have been going on a long time and I honestly almost never hear those two albums brought up, certainly not as much as a 36 Chambers or Cuban Linx.

Bruh, I'm 46 and I'm telling you those albums just aren't considered classics like 36 and Cuban. I just dont throw that word classic around lightly. Not to say they aren't great albums but they just dont come in that conversation as much.

Rza for me :wow:

Premo good, but Rza really took it there with the creativity variety. Premier beats can sound very generic at times though he is also outstanding.
A good match..

They do bruh it just because you view them as "Gangstarr" albums....we both grew up around the same time and I was in LA when both of these albums dropped....they were popular at the time and again are both classics....ask any real head and you will get the same answer....

Hopefully it's just beats, not songs so you can actually hear the intricacies in the production.

Premo gonna meticulously plan his set, RZA just gonna turn up and play some last minute random Division and Rev William Burke shyt
