I tried to climb over a divider while a boar was chasing me and I died.

I wouldnt have it any other way in this game
I got a real shotgun now. fukk that two bullet nonsense. 
I found an AKM with scope, found a high cap magazine and copped a suppressor.
Some advice I can give is try to restock regularly for maintenance of your gear. It’s cheaper to repair your gear around 80% than 40%.
Don’t carry too much gear into the field, you’ll replenish vital items in field so do have to be a pack rat.
If you’re low on cash, sell grenades.
