I wouldn't say he's falling off.... but I agree that each release was not as good as the last.

That's fair if that's your opinion

But all 3 of those projects are good

Not to mention OD

I don't think he is falling off, he is just making the music he want rather than catering to masses.

When you get on, you can either keep doing what got you that or can actually use the platform to speak on what's real to you.

He chose the latter and if the music isn't as "mainstream" then the "fans" who jumped on the bandwagon will hop back off which is probably for the best.....

That's why Mortal Man was the best way to end TPAB.....

TPAB is the most cohesive.. If you take everything into account - it'll have the greatest lasting impact

GKMC is the best.. Neither TPAB or S.80 have songs at the same caliber of City or Money Trees

S.80 is still good, but it has neither of the two factors that brought the two projects following mass critical acclaim

currently i'd say....S80--TPAB--GKMC.
GKMC high points are better than the other twos but its been well over a year since i even thought about listening to it front to back.

my biggest fear with Kendrick is that he could go left and easily make a Eminem-esque/Strange music level piece of awful music.

OD & Section 80 was the only project of his that I fully enjoyed from start to finish. There was something about GKMC that didnt gel with me as a project...I liked some of the songs but ehh...TPAB I gotta listen to it again, I might have judged it harshly, I liked the songs more when i saw the videos to the singles.
