Wonder why he didn’t sign to dreamville sure Cole was in his ear. Regardless his last joint was a classic so not surprised it wasn’t as good. Still like majority of the album.

Mine too. I can listen to it front to back any time, any mood. For my money, it's a modern classic.

Completely...The place he was mentally when he made that album

I doubt he will ever be able to match that feeling.
I'm still a fan and will give this a spin but I really don't expect him to hit those heights again.
You just have to be in a certain space to make emotional connecting music like that.

I know he has had songs with a similar cadence and flow before, but I'm hearing a lot of 3000 influence in some of the songs.
