Man when that dropped that was a time foreal. The feeling that album gives off is just different. Definitely a modern classic to me. Had to cop the vinyl.

this sounds like folk music meets rap in modern day marriage

usually rap music is inspired by other genres like soul, funk and rnb but this felt like it was coming from a different angle.

Just finished the whole Album.

Didn't really pick up for me until Stop Playing With Me and the drop into Westside Bound.
Good run to end the album from How To Impress God.

Will give it a second spin on my Commute on Monday but solid at first listen.

I’ve given the album two listens so far and I’m really enjoying it. I could be a prisoner of the moment but I think this might be his best produced album (even though Care for Me is a personal classic). The beat switches and transitions on this is crazy and Saba is rapping rapping on this. Biggest surprise of this album to me is Jean Deaux’s verse…I might need a rapping project from her
