Not hating on Durant, but i've always been a fan of Westbrook.

People tend to forget that the first time the Thunder made it to the playoffs Durant was locked up by Artest while Westbrook was beasting (till Kobe stated guarding him). Westbrook is and always has been a monster that dumb ass sports pundits used as a scapegoat whenever the Thunder came up short.

He hasn't improved to any significant degree, in fact i believe his numbers have dropped across the board this season. 100% agree on everything, especially the bolded. That's all it is. Everyone that criticized him was on that Westbrook's holding Durant back tip, until they could no longer argue that point when it was made abundantly clear that Durant needs him to succeed.

Spoken like a typical clueless casual. Lol at not "buying into" the sabo gimmick. It happened on your screen whether you like it or not. Westbrook shot 37% for the series against Dallas and the only game OKC won was when Sabo was benched for the last 15 mins of the game.

Westbrook has dramatically improved since then in his decision-making, shot selection, ability to finish and midrange shooting. He's now got the best midrange pull-up in the league. His numbers are down because hes working his way back from injury and its early. He's a far better player now than a few years ago and to deny that is a great display of your overall ignorance.
