Jarren looking like the sure starter coming out of spring would have had all sorts of people on Perry and Tate's camp in their ear about leaving. If a RS FR wins the job neither of those dudes are sticking around.

Now, I want the best player to play, but it's best for us in keeping depth and talent to sharpen talent if Perry or Tate is the starter (one of them inevitably leaves leaves) and JW sits behind the starter for 2-3 years and develops his game.

JW might yet still be the starter but it's best going into summer with the upperclassmen in the lead.

Also JW's biggest weakness is something he can only overcome with time spent with a good QB coach so if he isn't starting I think he'll want to stick around with Enos.

Tate looked like who he's supposed to be today.

N'Kosi though :damn:

He looked incredible out there. Still with some N'Kosi errors but goddamn his arm talent is unreal.

ppl are saying Kennedy is not athletic enough for the ACC. you think they roll with Herbert and Scaife at the tackles?

If Kennedy takes any snaps for us, every snap he takes will be one we're surrendering to the opposing DL.

Zion will play infinitely more than Kennedy this season barring disaster.

im of the belief thats the one position you can portal your way out of, yea guys develop differently but to go from Butler to Miami is a massive jump. every Clemson player on the DL is a top 100 NFL prospect, your not just going to be big and get in the way.

thrilled to hear Nelson is emerging, him and Harvey seem to be impressing everyone. Gaynor being out has kind of screwed up the rotation, id like Reed to win the other guard job so Scaife/Campbell/Nelson and Herbert can compete at tackle

how many years in a row are guys going to get bad council on their draft status. Joe should have came back at this rate

Redwine picked before Willis and Jaquan...i mean i love Sheldrick but thats kind of shocking to me. Willis being there in the late 4th is a robbery waiting to happen, Jaquan is a starting FS by his 2nd year but i knew his measurables would keep him in the mid rounds

I wonder if off the field issues scared gems away from Willis. Plus, even though he was a dominant players last season, he only really has a 1 year body of work.

said the exact same thing in the Dolphin thread, i think its a combo of his past/limited tape and where he fits on the field. personally i think hes like Allen Bailey where 3-4 end would prolly be his best situation. only a handful of 3-4 base teams, and he does not have long arms
