How are things going?

I've been reading so many good things about the state of the program but I feel like you always see this kind of optimism in the offseason.

Are we really on the right path?
who really knows until the games get played? we will hear all the right things, but you never know. The one thing that does look mightily improved is the strength and conditioning.

in my personal opinion, I kind of hope tate improves enough to win the job. I had hopes of Kosi or Jarren, but I watched some games from last year and woof. I don't trust Kosi and I've read on canesinsight how Jarren has NOT matured off the field. and thats from 2 guys with inside info. I kind of doubt he's even gonna be on the team all year

all of the recent recruits look a bit raw...ill trust the strategy but the DBs are very raw. 2 of those safeties likely wont play for years

Washington is a must-have at TE, i like Mamarelli alot but if he bumps him out its worth it. need to round out the class with 1 more big time OL and more polished corners. and get Chantz in here cuz losing D. Harris was not good

the returns on the strength program are crazy, i cant find the pic but Jordan Miller looks like an entirely different person

ill say this too: there might not be a more important recruit in this incoming class than Matocha. i dont trust Jarren staying as much anymore, going forward it may be the winner of this job + him + Van Dyke. QB is a whole different animal now with the portal, it was good to get a solid player in here behind the other 3

I agree with your assessment of the QB situation. I still can’t believe that Richt wasn’t planning signing a QB for the 19 class :snoop:

even if hes never a starter, hes important depth. i like his tape, hes not as naturally talented as Van Dyke but he strikes me as a cerebral player with some good tools

thats when i knew Richt had a foot out the door, he handled that so lazily. Weldon was never an option to play, and he left anyway
