Wrecked while I was in phoenix at the track (21 years old and excited to have first exotic). nikka thought it was R.I.P. until I decided to buy it back from the insurance company and do a full rebuild on it. I put in a new engine with stryker heads, pistions, bigger cam etc while I was in new mexico. I just decided to sell it because I want to get into something different. I'm just going through sellers remorse now because that has always been my dream car since I was a kid. As far as the track goes, I was on a road course and my brakes locked up on me going around a curve while i was going around 160mph and ran into the wall.

My STS accident was worse though (someone ran a stop sign).

After the accident and the mods I changed the brakes to the srt brakes and that shyt never locked up on me again (vipers don't have abs or traction cntrl).

As far as me owning a viper at 21, I said fukk wasting my time for a degree thats just going to let other people know that I'm qualified to work for someone and started going to the warriorforum and thefastlanetomillions to learn how to start my own business and make money online. shyt took awhile but once I broke the learning curve I slowly started making money from doing shyt online and before I knew it, it was my main income and I had enough to buy one with cash.

Yeah I got more than I paid for it, so that was a great surprise.

My list is the following based on how much I'm willing to spend:
1.Gallardo (awd, great looks, somewhat reliable, plus I have the service manuals for this and the murci; my top choice right now)
2.360 Modena (lack of places for maintenance may be a problem though)
3.NSX (hp and torque could be a problem unless I twin turbo it)
4.Maserati GT (crossed my mind but I haven't done enough research on it)
5.De Tomaso Pantera GT5 (Hard to find a non abused one and the right color for me)

To tell the truth though, I thinking I might just wait until the 2013 viper come out and see how it performs.

I'd go with the Gallardo.


360 is a ton for parts
Maserati unless its the newest model I would skip .
(parts are an arm and a leg, plus services)

Don't get a 360. It's not worth your money. Was not impressed.

The Gallardo is good if its '06+.

I'd look at a used Z06/ZR1 or another Viper as well.

Yeah, i was looking on ferrarichat and it seems that the 360s had alot of problems. Some even say the 355 was better. I did look into vettes, but I can't stand the fact that everyone and their mama has one (great cars from a performance standpoint though). Thats why I chose the viper in the first place. Other than it being one of my dream cars, it was a car that people are afraid to drive due to the lack of safety features and thats also what I loved about it (raw untapped power with nothing holding you back).
