So what, he's still washed and bitter. Don't be mad bro, I liked Brand Nubian and even the Wild Cowboys shlt. But he's a angry dude, so is Lord Jamar. I think it's just a 5%er thing.

Sadat X and Lord Jamar are two different people homey. Honestly Jamar is the angry/haterish one, Sadat is cool as hell but apparently he WILL flip the f^ck out if you disrespect/cross him..
If you want to call Lord Jamar washed up and bitter, I can't really argue that. Sadat? Naw.

Like what?

You can hop a plane to make sure that you're sitting courtside for a random game; fly to attend a party on the other side of the US...Now I know that some of the events are related to their jobs (public appearances; award shows; certain "events") but they also get paid from guest appearances, so what's wrong with flying out for a true studio session? It will enhance the end product.

Honestly, if I wanted such and such for a feature, and he wouldn't come out to chill with me but only wants to email a verse, I'm taking that as a slight and changing my mind.

Most studios are using Dropbox now.

But yeah, much respect to Sadat. Brand Nubian's One for All was one of the very first albums I ever owned as a kid. I haven't stopped listenin' to that album since then. It's still perfect. People slept on his Wild Cowboys album. He had some dope production on that.

I'd say Sadat's a legend. He's just on too many classic albums, not to be. Low End Theory, Stunts, Blunts & Hip Hop, One for All, etc. This cat was such a presence during what I think were Hip Hop's best years. Nothin' but mad respect for that dude, and I'm happy to see he has new work droppin' soon.
