I think that is one thing that's changed that you really can't recapture. Just think back on all of the great studio stories we've heard over the years; artists vibing off of each other for that perfect track; or the hilarity behind why "such and such" didn't appear on the song. I don't think the lack of it is completely ruining it, but it certain does hurt the end product.

These dudes can fly or hop a train for some BS, then they could certainly go chill with someone for a couple of hours, vibe, and make great music.

We're gonna act like rappers don't spend any time in the studio anymore....This generation of rappers hasn't had enough time to let their music/age enough to get to the point where people are interested in the makings of their best work.

you'll probably have all sorts of great stories for the makings of College Dropout,GRDOT,Carter 3,Trap Muzik,GKMC etc. when it comes time to reflect on those albums.

Most studios are using Dropbox now.

But yeah, much respect to Sadat. Brand Nubian's One for All was one of the very first albums I ever owned as a kid. I haven't stopped listenin' to that album since then. It's still perfect. People slept on his Wild Cowboys album. He had some dope production on that.

I'd say Sadat's a legend. He's just on too many classic albums, not to be. Low End Theory, Stunts, Blunts & Hip Hop, One for All, etc. This cat was such a presence during what I think were Hip Hop's best years. Nothin' but mad respect for that dude, and I'm happy to see he has new work droppin' soon.

Flodge free zone
Education & Experience, Black October, Generation X were all quality too.

Even Wild Cowboys 2 & his Brand New Bein' album had some cuts.

But I've always been big on Sadat. He's one of the true originals.

That's pretty stupid of you to say as he's pretty much the opposite of that. In fact he clowns on older hating ass dudes in this interview.

So what, he's still washed and bitter. Don't be mad bro, I liked Brand Nubian and even the Wild Cowboys shlt. But he's a angry dude, so is Lord Jamar. I think it's just a 5%er thing.
