came in here to post this....what added insult to injury wasn't just the fact that the military came through moments later ing but also that when the woman Carol asked for help looking for her daughters earlier in the film NO ONE would help her and she left the supermarket looking for them on her own...leaving everyone to believe she and her kids would die...then at the end after that scene she rode by with the daughters looking at him like :rumad:

How does it end

The ending is similar to the twist in The 6th Sense where we find out Bruce Willis has been dead the entire time. In this case..he killed himself before the movie began over his daughter's death. The guy sitting in the throne was a patient, (he's a psychiatrist) that he was playing chess with throughout the film but never finished the game with...it turns out that the guy in the throne is the devil and dude is in hell.
